World of Pokémon Day #18 – Vermilion City/Yokohama

Vermilion City is an important place in the Kanto region. It’s the major port connecting to other places in the Pokémon World including Johto and the Sevii Islands, not to mention it’s American Gym Leader (although it’s bee  suggested he’s from the Unova region after all) and the world cruise ship S.S. Anne calling in at the harbour. But how does this compare to it’s real-life counterpart Yokohama. World of Pokémon Day #17 – Ponderings and the Pokémon Centre in Yokohama

We’ve been quite excited to come to Yokohama and thus far it hasn’t disappointed. After the relatively quiet cities of Maebashi and Tsuchiura, Yokohama is a breath of fresh air, busy and with plenty to do. We’ve spent our day looking around the shops in Minato Mirai and truly eating our fill in the restaurants. However we shall delve into the bulk of this city tomorrow when we look for the similarities this major port city has with Vermilion City.
